Reviving an Old Project

Decided to take a break today, which means spending time on the computer doing coding stuff that’s not related to work. Because that’s what apparently relaxes me.

My project dependencies have gotten pretty out of date. And MongoDB wasn’t running anymore on my machine.

So today was less of a coding day, and more of a “why isn’t this working” day. And partially a “how did this ever even work at all” day.

I’m not sure if this was as relaxing as I thought it was going to be. Somewhat pleasurable, despite the frustration. I did end up getting things working (the following day).
