Sad News

I was running some errands this morning, and walked to where we parked our car. On my way there, I found the lost kitten from last night. He was in the road, and didn’t make it.

I’m not sure what happened. The cold might have gotten him, but I think it’s more likely he was hit.

I know there’s nothing more we could have done, but doesn’t change how terrible it was to find/see him. I wish so very much that we could have snatched him up, and taken him home where it was safe and warm. Poor little guy.
