We both have some vacation time coming up, towards the end of the month. And thanks to Liz’s planning, we have a good amount of work scheduled on the house. Here’s to a solid November, and to the start of what we hope will be a solid December.
My meal, which was a pile of berry cheesecake flapjacks. Which were pretty much what you imagined they would be: “cheesecake in pancake form.” I was happy to not succomb to my normal habit of coming here, and then ordering something heartier like an omelette. The sweet breakfasts are the main pull for the Bongo Room, and I’m glad to have indulged.
But today, my sweet tooth won out. We’re not here often, and I kept asking myself: “Why come all this way if you’re not going to have something out of the ordinary?” So I ended up getting Brioche French Toast with Vanilla Cream and Berries, while Liz got Brown Sugar Gingersnap Pancakes.
