The Trenches

I am a big fan of Penny Arcade. Even though I don’t consider myself a huge gamer… and don’t quite get all the video game related jokes, I love the humor of the site.

A few months ago, I came across another comic done by the same guys called The Trenches. I started off reading a bit of the beginning, and before I knew it… I got sucked in. Ever since, I’ve been waiting for Tuesdays/Thursdays, to read the latest installment.

I have to admit – I actually enjoyed reading the existing comics, en masse, more than I do reading each individual comic as it comes out. Chalk this up to my preference for comics and DVD’s in general: I like binging in large quantities, as opposed to getting small amounts consistently.

At any rate – I think this is a pretty fun read, and something else to check out (in addition to the more daily Penny Arcade comics). I’d recommend starting at the beginning.
