Friday, Post-Work Drinks with Liz

Met up with Liz at The Promontory, for a quick after-work drink. I woke up feeling like going out after work… but by the end of the day, was a little 50/50. But we ended up deciding to meet, and I’m glad we had a chance to step out (albeit briefly), after the work week.

The day was sunny, but deceptively so. Still, it was that bright sky that made me really want to go out – even if it meant it was still a little too cold to be sipping drinks outside.

We chatted mostly about work, and the errands we were going to run this weekend (supplies for the house, supplies for the backyard). This was a nice way to close out the work week, and ease into the start of the weekend.
