A Note Of

Liz and I were able to catch the last hour of the 57th Street Art Fair in Hyde Park. Going around the various vendors and booths, I realized how great it would have been had we gotten here earlier – so that we could take our time.

I was too busy checking things out to take any photos, so maybe next year. It was a really neat event, with lots of great artwork, pottery, ceramics, and jewelry.

On the way home, we spotted this slight rise in the sidewalk concrete – and a note warning those who might walk by. There’s another, similar message from the opposite direction, about 10 feet away.

I can’t tell if this was meant to be more of an official warning, for liability reasons. Or if perhaps someone just tripped one too many times, and decided to take matters into their own hands.

Either way, I found this little note delightful.
