Remnants of Christmas

After over 10 days away (visiting three families in three different cities), we finally arrived back home. I thought it was funny that in the kitchen, we still had Christmas wrapping supplies on the table.

We’re used to doing a big road trip for the holidays, but this year we lingered a bit longer in Valparaiso… and it’s the longest we’ve been away from our house in a long, long while. There was a lot of travel, but also a lot of motionlessness as well. Pretty restful holiday, overall.
