A Single Serving

I was in the kitchen, preparing a meal for Hugo. It’s still such a new thing, Daisy’s absence. And only needing to make up one plate of food.

Meal time tends to be very involved – two dishes of greens, along with various medications in the morning and evening for Daisy. But now… it’s just Hugo. And it’s just a single serving.
