Patrick Stewart Exists Within the Star Trek Universe

This is just too fantastic and too nerdy to believe.

David Friedman writes about Jörg Hillebrand’s preternatural attention to detail, and how Hillebrand noticed that a book in Captain Picard’s ready room was opened to a page that featured a photo of the actor Patrick Stewart, taken in 1968 when he was part of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

This is one of many Star Trek Observations by Hillebrand, but boy is it a zinger.

It reminds me a great deal of how someone discovered that E.T. and Yoda Exist in the Same Universe. And reminds me a great deal of the Tommy Westphall Universe Hypothesis (something I talked about at a recent 20×2 event).

Nerds are great, but Star Trek nerds are the best.
