Scotch Malt Whisky Society, February 2026 Outturn

Had another fun night tasting whisky with Liz, at the local SMWS outturn event in Chicago.

Tonight there seemed to be an even larger group (there was an extra table set up). Sadly, didn’t end up seeing some of our regular friends, like Lauren or Max.

But did end up sitting with a mixture of old and new folks. We met up again with Ruth and Shawn (whom we met previously at the October 2023 Outturn, back at the Franklin Room).

And also some newer folks as well. We got to sit with Josh (his first time), as well as Dave (his second time) and Dave’s wife Kathleen (her first time).

A very social evening, and great fun to talk with folks who hadn’t been to one of these events before.
