Liz, spending a bit of time painting the front planters. She was using some new type of paint (she’s gotten much more into linseed oil based paint), and only had a sample… and only had enough to do the fronts. Today, she was finishing things off, after getting more.
Close to the end of the day, we settled back with a drink and some music. And admired that good-looking arbor that someone put in, many months ago.
Turns out, he had also repainted the whole thing! The glider also has a latch that lets the back fold down, converting the whole thing into a bed (in case you just got really comfortable and decided a full-on nap was required).
I shoud say: I’m less certain when it comes to electrical, and have the most hesitation towards any electrical work. I need to study up more. For most things, I feel like if you make a mistake… there are ways to workaround and patch. With electrical, it feels like you get… one mistake.
The photo isn’t much, but it’s what I was seeing when I felt calm and contended. After a lot of movement and a lot of sweat, it felt good to be motionless for a little while.
After mowing, I decided I was going to use the power washer Bob loaned us (for the basement) on our front and back porches.
While I was planning on just doing some errands and a supply run, I shifted into this mode where I just figured I should keep on working and actually do the insulation install.
