Clearing the Boxes

On Saturday, Liz and I resumed our Reboxing the Boxes project – going through a lot of the items currently stored in our front office room.
Today, Liz and I spent the morning and afternoon tackling the second floor. We’ve decided to refocus our efforts on the second floor, and the best thing we feel is to clear as much space as possible.
In preparation for some work we’ll be doing in the basement, Liz started to work on opening up the transoms on the second floor. While they’re not over every door, we have them over three doors.
With a new (temporary) furnace going on the second floor, it was time to take down the tarp I had put up a long while ago to keep Liz’s sewing room a little warmer.
We got home tonight, and though we were tired… threw on our work clothes and put a little time into organizing. We had on our to-do list the task of clearing out the guest room, and so took down some excess wood and relocated lots of boxes.
The SW corner of the basement, tidied-up a bit more. The mule (pipe-threading machine) will stay here for a bit longer still, so that guy remains in place for now.
Liz and I spent a bit of time this morning, working on the house. While she was out in the yard packing up cement (we still have a large pile)… I was upstairs in the attic, clearing out old insulation.
