Wall Prep

Our wall schedule was a bit delayed, with today being the day we intended to do the cement pour. But as it turned out, we spent the day getting prepped for the pour, instead.

Bob made a custom frame, which we attached to the wall. This would support a layer of concrete block, extending the wall into the yard a bit.

We offset the wall slightly, with the interior/top of the wall serving as a “step.” Where Liz is working in this photo is a layer of concrete block, sitting on top of the frame from earlier.
