Supply Run

We’ve got some repair work we want to do on the back porch. As part of the wall project, we took out the cellar doors. As a result, we’ve needed to use plastic to keep the rain at bay, when the weather takes a turn.

Our goal is to build out the deck a little more, and create a custom overhang/door. But before we can do that, we need some more supplies.

Today was a big supply run. We were out in the suburbs, running several errands over several locations. It was… a lot.

At a random Menards, where we saw this sign for concrete blocks. In my head, I was saying “too soon,” and had a little PTSD.

We got several 8′ lengths, which required us to put down the passenger seat. As a result, Liz got to ride in back for the trip home while I played chauffeur.

It was a very, very long day. We got done with work a little earlier than normal (12PM), and didn’t get home until closer to 7:30 PM.
