Running in the Rain, Table Work

Liz and I headed out today for a run, despite a bit of rain. Here she is, prepped for the weather (and me, less so).

We hit up the Greenway Trail, but she was doing a much longer run… and I ended up just sticking around where we parked.

I got done with my run much earlier, and just wandered around some. There was a nearby common area, with tables and a nice mural.

Also nearby: a shower/splash pad area. Closed for the season, but I bet this is a popular spot when it’s warmer.

Back home, and a bit later in the day. The thing we’ve discovered about Georgia weather: there are a lot of possible changes, on a given day. It could be storming in the morning, and perfectly sunny later on; and conversely, thunderstorms can appear out of nowhere.

Back home, Liz put in some work refinishing some of the patio furniture from the back deck.
