Solo Office Work: Insulation, Visqueen, Cleanup

Today, Liz suited up and put in some time in the front office. I’m still unable to really assist, so this was all her. She hauled a ton of material out, and set about getting the room ready for drywallers.

Some work that I was meant to do: putting up visqueen along the North wall.
Also – she took all the loose insulation that had fallen from the ceiling, and had put it back up in the rafters. She realized that if we were to get the ceiling drywalled, there wouldn’t be an easy way to get the insulation up there. So the time was now, to get it put back up from below, before we got the ceiling installed.
Liz really dislikes working with insulation, and it tends to be something that falls for me to do. But with my back injury, I’m really not able to do much. So it’s a testament to her commitment, that she did all this work – and got so much of it done, in one session.

The room, a bit cleaner and clearer.

A lot of extra meterial, moved out to the hallway. Crazy to think that we no longer need this anymore. And to see the office, open and clear. It’s really starting to look like a room again.
