Brunch and Bunnies

Big day today! We started things off with a new brunch spot: The Kronor.
We were unsure of what to expect, us showing up with no reservations on Easter Sunday. But we got there around 9:30-ish, and it wasn’t a problem to find a table.

Interior view. Incredibly cozy and personable. I was surprised at how many servers they had, but I think there’s a whole other section of the restaurant with seating, that I didn’t get to see.
We got to taste a seasonal pastry: the Semla!

With a lovely breakfast behind us, we headed over to Red Door Animal Shelter, to meet some bunnies. While Hugo gets the official final say, we do a first round to check out all the contenders.

Many, if not all the residents, were curious to see us.

Liz, spending time getting to meet some of the bunnies available for adoption.

Lots of potential suitors. While it’s not unusual for males to bond with other males (Quincy and Phineas are an example)… it’s not considered all that common.

Many, many suitors.

And Liz met nearly every one.

Liz, in her natural state, saying hello amd trying to befriend a bunny.

Upstairs, meeting Salt (who was moved upstairs while we were doing the rounds).

Liz has a list of favorites and hopefuls, and our goal is to return with Hugo to do some good old fashioned bunny speed dating.
