Whenever I’m walking down the street and I run into a group of people moving slowly, I get frustrated. I usually will try to find a way around them, but if it’s a large group… sometimes, there’s nothing you can do but roll your eyes, slow your pace, and shuffle along until there’s an opening.

This is some pretty mesmerizing stuff – video taken of various contestants, competing at the USA qualifier (Los Angeles) for the 2011 Battle of the Year.
After watching this, I’m in utter awe of what the human body is capable of doing. Though this is not my scene at all, I am utterly fascinated by B-Boy culture.

This is a video I saw last week, featuring super slow motion captured by Intellectual Ventures at the 2010 Maker Faire. Though the action is super slowed down, the image quality of each millisecond is crisp and almost looks photographic. It’s a mesmerizing combination. And… it involves people throwing water balloons at other people’s faces. Good stuff, all around. FYI…
