Appreciating the Arbor

I was in the backyard today, about to mow the grass. And I stopped, because I found myself standing inside the arbor… and was floored by how the interior of the arbor looked, with all the roses going up the sides.

I’d seen this at a distance, while standing between the arbor and the house. But standing inside the thing was something that just stopped me in my tracks.

I’m still floored by the arbor, and so very proud of our work on it. And the roses have been an ongoing process, a multi-year endeavor. It was nice to see both of these projects together, in this way.
