Christmas Vacation – Time to Get to Work!

With our vacation in full swing, Liz and I have been pretty busy with our own projects. Most mornings this week, I’ve gone to New Wave Coffee and set up shop with a bottomless mug. After that, I head home and alternate between being on my computer and playing video games.

I’ve been heavily researching a lot of options for my Awesome Foundation project and am slowly building up a large list of tasks for myself in OmniFocus. Between working on my project, doing holiday re-caps on the blog, transferring my domains away from GoDaddy… it’s been a busy few days since we got back home.

And Liz is no exception to this work-filled vacation.

Coming home from New Wave I found Liz, on the back porch, spray-painting a few boxes.

In our kitchen, I spotted a few legs from the ottoman Liz made several months ago (after a class at the Needle Shop).

// Note: as I’m typing this, I can hear her drilling away in the kitchen.

I love how the ideal vacation for both of us involves simply time – time to pursue our own projects. We do goof off a little bit (Netflix movies, video games)… but for the most part, we’re busy doing our own thing.
