Garden Arbor Construction, Part 10

Post-work, finally getting around to installing the arches we cut out.

It’s a bit of a daunting process, us committing to installing these things. Because I feel like I did a really poor job of cutting them out. But we sucked it up and tried to align the pieces as best we could.

A small pause, as Liz communues with a tiny bunny visitor.

She’s named him Harold.

Back to reassessing the arches.

The first arch: installed!

A part of the back arches required some more material… so Liz cut a custom piece, added some wood glue, screwed it into place, and patched up the seams.

She left this to dry overnight, and for us to install the next day.
